Our wonderful town is located approximately 7 miles south of Ames -- 1 mile East of R-38 and 3 miles West of HWY-69. And if you still cannot find it, please MapQuest us!

The kids of Kelley will attend one of the two elementary schools that the Ballard Community Schools built nearly 15 years ago now. Ballard East is located in Cambridge, Iowa, and is home to 4th through 6th. And Ballard West, is located in Slater, Iowa, and houses Early Kindergarten through 3rd . The bus stop for the school is located at what is now the new Town City Hall. However, for those who are from the town -- we remember this as the old Kelley School when Kelley still held one of the elementary schools. Ballard West is also where all the 6th grade kids go to start to learn the switching of classes and getting to know all the people they will see in the new building when they finally make it to the Junior/Senior High. Ballard Junior/Senior High is located in Huxley, Iowa, and here is where the 7th through 12th grade level kids will attend. There are numerous sports, clubs, and activities for the kids of Kelley and their friends to take part in. Please click on the Ballard Schools link to get to the official school website. |
