The kids of Kelley will attend one of the two elementary schools that the Ballard Community Schools built nearly 15 years ago. The kids of Kelley will attend one of the two elementary schools that the Ballard Community Schools built nearly 15 years ago. Ballard West in Slater is where students will attend K-2nd grades. Ballard East is located in Cambridge, Iowa, and is home to 3rd-5th grades. The bus stop for the school is located at what is now the new Town City Hall. However, for those who are from the town -- we remember this as the old Kelley School when Kelley still held one of the elementary schools.
Ballard Middle School is located in Huxley and is where students attend for grades 6-8.
Ballard Senior High is located in Huxley, Iowa as well and students grades 9-12 attend this school. There are numerous sports, clubs, and activities for the kids of Kelley and their friends to take part in. Please click here to get to the official school website.
